Fascia — the connective tissue web that surrounds every muscle, bone, organ and nerve — is increasingly studied as a contributor to chronic pain and movement restriction. Myofascial Release targets this tissue directly, complementing joint mobilisation and exercise.
This course delivers three complete techniques in a single programme: manual myofascial release, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilisation (IASTM), and cupping therapy. You receive three separate Certificates of Completion and 70 hours that may count toward your CPD — one of the most efficient investments in your continuing education.
Developed by Dr. Joe Rosário, PhD, and delivered by our expert clinical faculty, this course combines the original approaches of Andrew Taylor Still and Ida Rolf with modern fascial science and clinical methodology. By the end of the course, you will be applying all three techniques with confidence in your own practice.
Basic anatomy and clinical experience with soft tissue assessment. Open to all registered healthcare practitioners.
Completion earns three separate Certificates of Completion in partnership with Manual Therapy Academy (Canada): Manual Myofascial Release, IASTM and Cupping Therapy — 70 hours that may count toward your CPD (verify with your professional body). They certify advanced education for licensed health professionals, not a practising licence. The techniques are practical and develop with ongoing practice; optional in-person workshops are available separately in Portugal (joerosario.pt).
If the programme is not for you, request a refund within 14 days (EU) or 7 days (Brazil), in line with your local consumer law. No paperwork, no awkward questions.
This programme is offered as continuing education for healthcare professionals. The therapies covered are practised on a voluntary, self-regulated basis in this jurisdiction. Graduates are responsible for verifying local scope-of-practice requirements before clinical application.
