RPG (Reeducação Postural Global / Global Postural Re-education) is a therapeutic approach developed by Philippe Souchard that treats the musculoskeletal system as an integrated whole. Rather than targeting isolated muscles or joints, RPG identifies and corrects the global postural chains that drive chronic pain, joint compression and movement dysfunction.
Where conventional therapy treats the site of pain, RPG identifies why the pain developed — the adaptive postural compensations that have accumulated over years or decades. This approach is particularly effective for chronic spinal pain, scoliosis, joint hypomobility, repetitive strain injuries and all conditions where postural imbalance is a contributing factor.
This professional certification programme, delivered by Manual Therapy Europe in partnership with Manual Therapy Academy (Canada), equips you with the complete RPG assessment and treatment methodology — from initial postural diagnosis to progressive postural correction across multiple sessions.
Experience in musculoskeletal assessment and manual therapy. A healthcare qualification is required.
Graduates receive an internationally recognised RPG certification from Manual Therapy Academy (Canada). This qualification is recognised across Europe for professional practice and CPD requirements.
RPG transformed my approach to chronic spinal pain. I had patients who had been through years of conventional physio with no lasting improvement. With RPG, results were visible from session two.
The most systematic postural approach I have learned in 15 years of practice. The Souchard method makes complex global patterns genuinely teachable. Exceptional course.
