Neural mobilisation β also known as neurodynamics β is the assessment and treatment of adverse neural tissue tension and impaired neural mobility. Based on the pioneering work of David Butler and Michael Shacklock, it addresses one of the most frequently missed contributors to pain and dysfunction: the mechanical and chemical sensitisation of the nervous system.
Conditions including sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome, cervical radiculopathy, piriformis syndrome and many others involve a neural component that conventional soft tissue and joint techniques simply cannot address. This course teaches you to identify neural involvement, perform neural tension tests, and apply neurodynamic mobilisation techniques safely and effectively.
Taught by our specialist clinical faculty and certified by Manual Therapy Academy (Canada), this advanced programme builds directly on your existing manual therapy skills and immediately expands your clinical capability.
A solid grounding in musculoskeletal assessment and at least basic manual therapy experience. This is an advanced course.
Completion earns an internationally recognised Neural Mobilisation certificate from Manual Therapy Academy (Canada) β 40 CPD hours, valid across Europe.
After this course I understood why 30% of my patients were not improving with conventional treatment. They had an unaddressed neural component. This knowledge is absolutely essential for any serious manual therapist.
I thought I knew neurodynamics from university. This course showed me I had only scratched the surface. The clinical integration module alone changed how I approach every complex case.
