Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a traditional system of health knowledge developed over thousands of years, with its own view of balance, function, energy, constitution, body signs and disease processes. Among its main resources are acupuncture, Chinese phytotherapy, tuina, therapeutic qi gong and traditional assessment methods such as tongue observation and pulse assessment.
This programme presents the foundations of TCM in a 100% online format, with theory classes, demonstrations, support materials and a progressive organisation of the content. The aim is to give the professional a structured base to understand the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, broaden integrative clinical reasoning and study the main areas of this field — TCM theory, Yin/Yang, the Five Elements, Qi, Blood, Body Fluids, Zang-Fu, pattern differentiation, acupuncture foundations, tuina, Chinese phytotherapy and integration with Western clinical assessment.
The online education is delivered by Manual Therapy Europe. For students who wish to complement their learning with in-person practice, optional workshops may be held separately by Dr. Joe Rosário, with their own registration, terms and payment on an independent page.
Prior training in a health field, or advanced studies in a related area, is recommended. Enrolment and the future use of the knowledge must respect the legislation, professional scope and rules applicable in the learner's country, state, province, association or competent body.
On completing the programme, the learner receives a Certificate of Completion issued in partnership with Manual Therapy Academy (Canada), corresponding to 500h+ of education, with a curriculum structured to reference the public international benchmarks for TCM and acupuncture training. The certificate confirms the completion of an online educational programme and does not, by itself, constitute a clinical licence, an authorisation to practise, automatic recognition by regulatory bodies, or the right to use a protected professional title. Acupuncture, Chinese phytotherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and the use of certain professional titles are regulated differently from one country, state or province to the next; it is the learner's responsibility to verify the requirements applicable where they intend to study, practise or seek professional recognition. The practices presented require study, responsible training, appropriate practical education where applicable, and use only within each learner's lawful professional scope.
If the programme is not for you, request a refund within 14 days (EU) or 7 days (Brazil), in line with your local consumer law. No paperwork, no awkward questions.
This programme is offered as continuing education for healthcare professionals. The therapies covered are practised on a voluntary, self-regulated basis in this jurisdiction. Graduates are responsible for verifying local scope-of-practice requirements before clinical application.
