The Chiropractic programme from Manual Therapy Europe is one of the most comprehensive chiropractic training programmes available for practising healthcare professionals. Developed over 25 years by Dr. Joe Rosário, PhD, this programme combines the rigour of academic training with the immediacy of clinical application.
The programme is delivered 100% online — you begin immediately after enrolment and progress at your own pace through the theory, clinical reasoning and technique demonstrations. Manual technique is a hands-on skill, so you can also complement your studies with supervised practice — optional in-person workshops are available separately in Portugal (see below). Designed for already-licensed health professionals (physiotherapists, osteopaths, nurses and other registered practitioners), the online programme can be completed in about one year at your own pace.
Upon completion you receive a Certificate of Completion issued through our partnership with Manual Therapy Academy (Canada), Instituto Terapia Manual (Brazil) and WiFi Mentor (USA), with graduates in over 12 countries.
Optional practical workshops are independently organised in Portugal (joerosario.pt) — a separate business from Manual Therapy Europe. Registration, payment, invoicing and refunds are handled separately, and participation is not required to complete the online programme.
A recognised healthcare qualification (degree or equivalent). Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential. Non-professionals may enrol in the extended 4-year pathway.
Upon successful completion you receive a Certificate of Completion of the Manual Therapy Europe Chiropractic programme, issued in partnership with Manual Therapy Academy (Canada). The curriculum is built to follow the publicly available WHO benchmark for chiropractic training; its supervised practical component is completed through the optional in-person training. The certificate confirms the education and clinical foundation that professional recognition is built on — but it is not, by itself, a practising licence and does not grant the right to practise or to use a protected title. Chiropractic is regulated differently from one country, state or province to the next (in some a statutory profession, in others open to qualified professionals); you are responsible for verifying and meeting the requirements that apply where you intend to work.
If the programme is not for you, request a refund within 14 days (EU) or 7 days (Brazil), in line with your local consumer law. No paperwork, no awkward questions.
In this jurisdiction, the therapies taught in this programme are reserved for licensed healthcare professionals. Enrolment is restricted to applicants who can demonstrate valid professional registration. This programme does not grant clinical licensure on its own.
