RPG (Reeducação Postural Global / Global Postural Re-education) is a therapeutic approach developed by Philippe Souchard that approaches the musculoskeletal system as an integrated whole. Rather than targeting isolated muscles or joints, RPG identifies and works with the global postural chains that drive chronic pain, joint compression and movement dysfunction.
Where conventional approaches focus on the site of pain, RPG explores why the pain developed — the adaptive postural compensations that have accumulated over years or decades. This approach is widely applied to chronic spinal pain, scoliosis, joint hypomobility, repetitive strain injuries and conditions where postural imbalance is a contributing factor.
